| There are many reasons for this. Some include that they have been taught all the "facts" as to why Jesus is not for Jews. Other reasons include the theology of messiah, namely, what is messiah? Political messiah is what many are looking for... |

Hello my name is Jessica and I am a new member of this Christian forum. Mainly the reason why rabbi's don't believe that Jesus is Messiah is because of what it says in the Prophet Isaiah 6:8-10 8And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me." 9And he said, "Go, and say to this people: "'Keep on hearing,[c] but do not understand; keep on seeing,[d] but do not perceive.' 10Make the heart of this people dull,[e] and their ears heavy, and blind their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed." And when these certain Rabbi's do believe, Jesus is waiting for them as we read in Matthew 11:25-30 25At that time Jesus declared, "I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; 26yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.[g] 27All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. 28Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Jesus is waiting for His chosen people to be healed from their blindness and turn to Him, for He will give them rest from a hard days work literally. For example, before I became a protestant Christian, I was a Catholic. And I was more blind than I am now and every day the Lord is opening my eyes and ears up to His loving and caring ways. So His truth has set me free indeed. Your sister in Christ, Jessica |

Because they believe what they have been taught as do many of us naturally. Just because they may believe that God exist dose not automatically mean they are on His side. That is true of any ones religion. They will have to Receive God’s grace by Faith in Jesus as Messiah and see for themselves the difference that makes. Because there may be hazards for them in accepting this, what a Blessing it is when they do. Here are a few bible passages that come to mind. John 7:16-1816Jesus answered, "My teaching is not my own. It comes from him who sent me. 17If anyone chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. 18He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but he who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him
Romans 10: 14,1514How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"[g]
Faith is taking God at his Word and acting accordingly. Who Jesus is and what he did is Gods word. The ministry of Jesus as messiah was foretold by the Prophets in the Old Testament and fulfilled in the New Testament.
